What is Alprazolam?

Alprazolam medication makes part of a group of drugs called benzodiazepines. Administration of Alprazolam diminishes chemical activity in the patient’s brain.
Alprazolam medication is topically used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety associated with depression.

Important information

In case you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant you should not use this medication as it may have harmful effects on the unborn baby.
Avoid using Alprazolam if you have a history with allergic reactions to this medication or any other benzodiazepines, such as:

How to use Alprazolam?

Initial dose: 0.25 mg to be taken orally 2 to 3 times a day in elderly or debilitated patients

MISSED DOSE
In case of a missed dose it is recommended to administer it as soon as you recall to. However, in case it is almost time for the next dose, skip the previous one and continue taking this medication accordingly to the regular schedule prescribed by your healing doctor. Under no conditions you should take an extra dose to fulfill the missed one.
